Kendall West is an unincorporated community west of the Florida Turnpike with 36,536 residents, 11,474 households and 9,438 families at the 2020 census. It lies about 17 miles west-southwest of downtown Miami, bordered by Kendale Lakes to the east and The Hammocks to the south, with farmland and undeveloped land to the west and north.
