Kendale Lakes had 55,646 residents at the 2020 census on about 8.1 square miles, and about 71.5 percent of its homes are owner-occupied, with a median home value of about $378,100 in the 2019-2023 survey. It is bordered by Tamiami to the north, Westwood Lakes to the northeast, Kendall to the southeast, The Hammocks to the southwest and Kendall West to the west, and the Turnpike forms its eastern edge.
