Air conditioning, heat pumps, ductwork and commercial refrigeration for homes and businesses across Miami-Dade are the everyday work of Frozen Limits HVAC. Our service office is on SW 117th Ave in south Miami-Dade and our head office is on NW 72nd Ave in Medley, and the phone is answered 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
The work
What we work on
Most of our work is cooling, because in Miami that is what breaks: no-cool calls, refrigerant leaks, drain backups, compressors and fan motors, and full system replacements when a unit reaches the end of a Miami service life. Alongside it we build and seal duct, install mini splits and dehumidifiers, and keep systems running on maintenance schedules.
The same technicians handle heat pumps and the heat strips that get used a few nights a year, and on the commercial side rooftop units, service agreements, walk-in coolers, reach-ins, ice machines, PTACs and server room cooling. A restaurant can call one number for the dining room AC and the walk-in.

Where we are
Two offices, both sides of the county
The service office at 16351 SW 117th Ave #10b, Miami, FL 33177 handles most residential calls in south Miami-Dade, from Homestead and Cutler Bay up through Kendall, Coral Gables and Brickell.
The head office at 6754 NW 72nd Ave, Medley, FL 33166 covers Doral, Hialeah, Miami Lakes and the northwest, and most commercial and refrigeration accounts. See the full service area.
Honest dispatch
How we handle calls when we are booked
Our dispatch desk answers every call and schedules the technicians. In a heat wave, overnight, or after a storm, there are times when every technician is committed. When that happens we say so on the call, and we may forward the call to another trusted local provider so nobody is left waiting without cooling.
Providers set their own pricing and availability. Whoever comes out, you should confirm licensing and insurance before work starts, and ask for the price before any repair begins.
The guides
Who writes our guides
Nelson Galloway, Cooling and Refrigeration Guides Editor
The guides on this site are written and edited by Nelson Galloway, who keeps them focused on the problems Miami homeowners and businesses actually call about: systems that freeze up, drains that clog every summer, hurricane season, humidity and what a replacement really costs here. Cost ranges in the guides come from published 2026 figures and are labelled as planning ranges, not quotes.
